About

At C Proof, I created the Chelis programming language and developed the Sail family of Rust verification tools. Before that, I co-founded 2nd Set AI, where I co-authored SANEval, a NeurIPS 2026 paper introducing a benchmark for compositional accuracy in generated visual media.

Earlier, at Meta, I led the PyTorch core team, supported researchers at FAIR, and worked on neuromotor interfaces. My open-source work also includes Elixir machine learning, interactive neuroevolution, and machine learning systems in Scala.

Alongside this work, I make occasional angel investments in early-stage technology companies and advise AI startups.
